Official: Tatneft gets licenses for 2 fields in Tatarstan

MOSCOW, Jan 26 (PRIME) -- Russian oil producer Tatneft has discovered and received licenses to develop two fields in the Tatarstan republic until 2043, a representative for the Natural Resources and Environment Ministry told PRIME on Thursday.

According to the official, the Vostochno-Taktashskoye field has 1.753 million tonnes of oil reserves under C1 category, of which 368,000 tonnes are recoverable reserves.

The Kukuyevskoye’s reserves amount to 925,000 tonnes under C1 category and 2.574 million tonnes under C2 category, of which recoverable reserves stand at 269,000 tonnes under C1 category and 746,000 tonnes under C2 category.
